Oil Painting

My grandma Joan is a wonderful painter. She does amazing oil paintings. Howie asked her if she could teach him to paint. They had two sessions where she taught him some basics. The cool thing about this is during the first session, she taught him about colors and mixing primary colors to make other colors. With her help, they made all the colors they used. I forgot to take pictures during the first session, but here is is canvas after the first time.

Livy and I played outside to stay out of their way. Livy couldn't get enough of this momma cat. I am very surprised she didn't get scratched as this momma just had kittens (which were hidden and protected from Livy, smart kitty).

Howie's finished masterpiece. Not bad for a novice, huh?

Thank you Grandma Joan. This was such a treat for Howie.
