Mommy and her excited little man.....What a cute little boy! He is so much fun right now. At the zoo there was a carousel ride next to the water where I wanted to take a photo. Howie was so excited to just watch it go round and round that we couldn't get his attention back again to take a photo. But this is pretty cute too.  

More from the zoo. It is so much fun now that howie it old enough to stand up by himself and interact with the world. Makes for much more fun photo taking opportunities. 

We went to the Boise Zoo last weekend. It is not a very big zoo, but it has a lot of fun interactive stuff for kids to do. Howie enjoyed the animals a lot but really liked climbing around and playing. He is pictured on the elephant and on a gila monster. He liked the bumps on the gila monster animal, hence our deep concentration towards it. 

Bubble time with daddy is such a fun time for howie. He loves it and just laughed and laughed and giggled lots. Bubbles are so much fun to do when you get a reaction like this!! 

Howie and bath time = a big watery mess!! He loves water so much. While in the bath he splashes around and makes a huge mess. He gets water in his face and eyes and stops, takes a deep breath, and starts again! What a character. (He is a little bit hyper, lots of energy....hmmmmm......could he be related to his father???????) 

This is howie playing in the sprinkler before he can crawl, that is why mommy has to help him. He liked it a lot and spent most of the time trying to figure out how water was coming up from the sprinkler and hose. It was fun. He is a total water kid. He loves it a ton. 

I know that it has been way to long since I posted................I resolve today to do better and not add photos all at once. But now I have to catch up since my last post and so there are a lot of new photos up. I took the idea from a friend (hope you don't mind Erin!!) to put multiple photos on each post, then I don't have to post as many photos individually! I love it, I probably don't do it as well as Erin and Travis, but you get the picture. Enjoy. Tara

6 month photos taken June 2005. What a cutie. We think he is pretty cute and a whole lot of fun, but then again, being his parents makes us a little partial. 

For Logan's Birthday we went up to the Owyhee Lake and went waterskiing. I am not sure if howie liked it or not. The lifejacket kind of scared him. I think he liked the boat ride, but can't tell. 

PRE-CRAWLING. This is daddy trying to help howie learn to crawl. He took a pillowcase and put it under howie's belly and lifts him up to his hands and knees and lets howie walk around with his hands, trying to help him understand how to move his legs. This is just one excited daddy to have howie moving. Mom on the other hand is just fine where he is at. She is already dreading child proofing the house! 

This was Thayne's birthday party. He took two friends to Chucky Cheese and played around. Howie enjoyed cake (cupcake) for the first time and LOVED it. Spencer and McKenzie came with and had a great time too. Thayne turned 7 this year. 

4th of July. Howie loved the fireworks, but couldn't look at them when they popped and cracked loudly. He would squint his eyes and kick his feet wildly! It was very cute and fun to watch. (pictured with grandma schulthies) 

Afternon Swimming at the Reunion. Howie loved the cold water because it was so hot that day, it was refreshing. Aparently, it was so refreshing that he could even sleep in it. Poor guy, we wore him out too much that he slept through the swimming excursion. With howie's fair skin, he had to wear a onesie and a hat in addition to the sunblock for protection. It was a fun afternoon. 

Howie meets Riley, his cousin who is two months older than him. They had a lot of fun getting to know each other and playing together.
