Choke Downs

This is a childhood memory and still today that I {LOVE}! Choke Down cookies from our neighbor Jeannetta Garner. Whenever she would bring these to our house, they didn't last for more than 30 minutes. I wanted the recipe, so I arranged for the master to teach me. Livy and I went to her house for a baking class. It was so much fun. She is the sweetest lady I know.

Doesn't this photo just make you want a hug from her? She is that sweet. This is a memory I will never forget: Jeannetta with her signature choke downs.

Livy became interested in helping at this point. Jeannetta was so sweet and let her help her.

Then she helped me. After I frosted them, she would dip in them in the coconut.
