My two nieces share a birthday. Kailani turned 8 and Abigail 3. They were born on the same day, just different years. I think it is pretty cool. With a five year age difference, there will be some fun times ahead making both their day special, but for now, it is working out just fine. Abigail had to have the ice cream cake, so I let Kailani pick what kind of cupcakes she wanted for her birthday. She chose Oreo. We had a small family gathering Sunday afternoon (their birthday was the next day).
Stoney asked who was turning 38 and Abigail excited raised her hand, "ME!" Abigail's side of the cake with Dora characters and Kailani's side with Scooby Doo (both those are both Abigail's favorites right now. Kailani was a good sport).
This cracked me up. Abigail got a necklace from one of her grandmas. I asked her to see her pretty necklace and she stuck her neck out for me to see. Kids crack me up!
Happy Birthday to you two princesses. We LOVE you.
