TAMALES

Found a recipe on a blog for tamales (here) and on a whim decided to make them. No, I've never made them before. Yes, they were fabulous. Yes, it made a ton! Yes, they were a lot and lot of work. and Yes, I would make them again, probably in about six months when I have the strength and hankering for some tasty food. Even the kids liked them. Solinda was my right hand girl and we busted these bad boys out like a factory assembly line. Next time, we might get wild and crazy and try more than one kind of meat!

We forgot to take photos of the process, but these two huge bags Solinda took home with her and I had just as many to keep! Yum. I put 4 in a freezer bag and froze them for later. They came out of the freezer awesome too.
