10k

I have put this off for way too long, waiting for photos and one thing or another happens as Life doesn't stop or slow down because I can't keep my blog current. But, this is pretty important to me, so here it is. Back in March, I ran a 10k. It was my first race and because I am not a runner, it was pretty hard. Tommy and Lori (sil) made it look easy. It wasn't easy for me. Martha also ran it with me. We trained/walked/jogged together which was great. (We are gearing up for a Midnight 5k with glow in the dark accessories, should be fun.) Thanks to Lori for coming all the way down from Oregon to run the race with us. Next year, family, lets plan on doing it again!

I admire people who run races. I have a better appreciation for them and my desire will stay just that, an appreciation of them for what they can do. I think I said at the beginning of the year that I wanted to run a half marathon. Tommy still does, I think a 10k is kind of my max.
