This was my first time at women's conference. I was pretty frustrated the first day due to the small break out sessions capacity, they seemed to fill up too fast, not big enough rooms. The last speaker of the day in the Marriott center was awesome. The next day, I changed my plans and attended classes in the largest rooms and had a much better day. It was a very uplifting day, helped buoy me up again. I think the highlight for me was a lecture on Emma Smith given by Katherine Nelson who played Emma in the recent movie Emma Smith, My story (which I HIGHLY recommend to be a staple in every home). I have a new appreciation for Emma which is hard to articulate.

Juliene, Becky, Lori (baby Tessa), Mom-Barbara, Me, Maria,
Angela, and Shayla
We caught up with Aunt Berniel from Washington and her girls Jennilyn, Hayley, Tricia (minus Pam). So fun when you don't get to see them very often.
Mom, Aunt Mary from Vernal, and I at the Emma Smith lecture.
Fabulous, simply inspiring.
BYU always landscapes so beautifully. The tulips were very pretty. The weather was kind of yucky and it would snow as the sun was shinning, but it wasn't too bad. However, the contrast of the tulips with snow on the mountain was interesting to me. I have been away for too long and enjoy the warmer weather of the south. Yes, I am a pansy.
What a fabulous weekend, too much fun with my sisters and mom laughing, ice cream, lots and lots of walking, lifting each other's spirits and of course, lots and lots of chatter, that is what girls do best, talk! Love you girls and look forward to the next girls outing.
