I went to the finish line to cheer and congratulate my friend Brook on running a half marathon. I blame motherhood for changing my hormones. I cried and I didn't even run the race! I was so proud of her because 13.1 miles is a LONG way. The whole way home, I was in awe of her. I finally, after an entire day of thinking about her race, resolved to run a half marathon this year. Tommy is excited that I finally want to run, something he has always liked to do. So watch out 2010, it will be the year of running for me. I am totally freaked out by this goal as well as MOTIVATED! I got Tommy, Becky, Mohammed, and Martha excited to join me too....anyone else?

Things don't get accomplished without goals right?
So March 20th I want to run the Spectrum 10k. Who joining me?

Good for you Tara! I love running once I get going really well, but it always takes me a while to start loving it again after I've stopped! You will do awesome with the 10k, it's one of my favorite distances. Not too far & not too short. Keep us posted! And, I totally know about the crying about everything thing since I've had kids. But, I also think it just shows what a good & supportive friend you are showing support & excitement for your friend reaching her goals. Good luck!
Good for you! One day I would love to do the same thing...although I don't think 2010 is the year for me! Good luck!! I am sure you will do great!
