Thunderegg Days, Cherries, and a Movie

Our little o' town of Nyssa has its yearly Thunderegg Days. We went and enjoyed the vendors and activities. We even got our own little thundereggs.

Tommy and Howie with some civil war reenactment characters. They would shoot their antique rifles on the hour. Howdy Abraham Lincoln.

Livy with a ginormous thunderegg. What is a thunderegg you say? It is "a nodule-like geological structure, similar to a geode, that is formed within a rhyolitic lava flow." You can find them around our area. I guess (I wouldn't know) the area we live in is pretty good hunting for them.

We were even able to bring home our very own two small Thundereggs.

After Thunderegg Days, went went to Lori's and picked Cherries. They are so yummy to eat and super easy to pick, we loved them. Thanks for sharing Lori.

Then last minute, Tommy and I decided to go to HP7, aka, Harry Potter 7, Part 2. We REALLY enjoyed it. I thought it ended well. But I am sad to see this series come to a close. Tommy and I quite thoroughly enjoyed reading the books together and then seeing the adaptation to the screen. Very well done. It was a nice evening out.
