Cars 2

We took Howie and Livy to see Cars 2! They were so very excited. We invited any family that lived close to join us. Susan and her crew as well and Maria and her kids joined us. We really loved the film. We thought it was better than the first one. Howie thought it was pretty cool. Howie had been saving his money to go to this movie. He had plenty plus some excess. He wanted to spend it on popcorn and movie theater treats. I told him that he could or he could save it until after the movie and then buy some new cars that he liked from the movie to add to the growing Cars collection we have. He is a smart kid. He chose the latter. I was pretty proud of him too.

On the way to the theater, we saw this totally cool Lightening McQueen car in front of the tire store. We had to stop and check it out. When we came back from the theater that afternoon, it was gone. We were so glad we got the chance to see it.

With white walled tires and everything! Not exact, but still pretty cool.

Livy didn't last through the movie. I still think she isn't big enough for movies.

After the movie we had fun taking photos in front of the Cars 2 movie poster and enjoying a Cars snack. I had found these Cars marshmallows and they were so perfect. There was a lightening mcqueen, mater, sally, and road cone. Lots of fun to eat.

Home, bathed, ready for bed, and playing with their new cars. Howie got Holly Shiftwell, Finn McMissile, and Francesco Bernoulli. Mom bought some other ones for later, Professor Z, Carla Veloso (because it was pretty), Miles Axlerod. It was a fun excursion and we WILL be adding this movie to our collection when it is released.
