Can you tell I am catching up? I have a lot to journal about, so there might be a few days with multiple posts.
Easter with preschoolers...It was actually pretty fun. The nursing home where Tommy works invited Howie's preschool back again to have an Easter hunt. I wondered how fun it was going to be, considering it was in a nursing home. However, I was pleasantly surprised. They moved room to room and traveled throughout the nursing home finding clues.
They got there, moved to the first clue where they colored their easter bag and had a snack, cookie and lemonade.
Then we moved to one of the atriums and had an egg hunt! It was very fun.

Next, passing by the nurse station they got an easter pencil on their way to another atrium where they found bunny ears.
On to the rehab/weight room where they got bunny snacks (coco puff cereal) and bunny face painting.
Then lastly, and quite frankly the coolest, back to the dinning room where there was a small petting zoo of ducks and a bunny. They kids LOVED it. I hope the animals have fully recovered by now.
The nursing home residents seemed to enjoy having the kids there. What a great idea! Thanks Red Cliffs, it was awesome!
