It only took long enough, but here are some photos of our new home. We love it so much, so much space and it is our own space! We can't be happier right now (well I guess I could minus the non-stop kicking baby inside my stomach and this intense summer heat, but you can't have it all!).
Okay, Part 1 post will be the down stairs. Let's get started.
Okay, Part 1 post will be the down stairs. Let's get started.
This is the front room, looking from the stairs towards the front door.
This is the same room, but looking at it from the kitchen. We have officially hung our first item on the walls. It took a while after moving in because we wanted our walls glazed and Tommy's friend decided to help us out! So now I can start hanging photos and shelves. See the lack of furniture?? Still waiting for our economic stimulus check to arrive....little by little, inch by inch, after we have the money, our home will get finished.
This is the dinning room with a guest bathroom on the left and a closet/storage under the stairs to the right. See no chairs??? Again, saving up for them and waiting for that darn stimulus check. Right now we are using folding chairs, but they didn't look so great in the photo :)
This is from the dinning room looking in at the kitchen. Around the side of the fridge is the little walkway to the pantry, FYI. The stove is on the left for reference.
Another view of the kitchen.

This is looking from the stove into the pantry. I have two very favorite things in this home, besides just loving our home! One is the pantry and the other is our master bathroom, but you will have to wait until Post#2 for the latter.

This view is looking from the pantry back into the kitchen.
Our lovely black appliances.
And my wonderful PANTRY! I just love it! Tommy and his dad helped build the shelves for it and I still don't have all of them in yet, but it is a work in progress. I finally have a real place to put my Cansolidator (the huge black rotation system for canned food). I have had it for two years in our little apartment taking up the guest room, but now it finally has its own space!Well, that is all for now, I am wiped with this post, time for pregnant mom to sleep. Tune in later for Post #2, the upstairs.

This is beautiful! I bet you love it! I love all your space in the pantry too! That is awesome! Give Howie a hug for us!
The house looks great. Hey it was really good talking to you on the phone. We need to stay in touch more often.
Holy Moley! That's a huge step up from your place in Provo (which is the only house of yours I've ever seen so...). I thought you were so cool cause you owned your own house in college! Way to go! This new one is beautiful! I'm jealous!
