Also last night....

Okay, so we ruined Howie and his sleeping schedule when we moved four times in five months, I will admit it. So the last month has been very hard getting him to sleep in his own bed/room. We thought that having such a fun room might help make it easier, but it has been a very difficult run for us. It started out Howie falling alseep with us and then we would move him to his room. Then we got so that we would stay with him in his room until he fell asleep and then sometime in the night he would sneakily end up in our bed in the morning. If I would feel him, I would make him go back into his room. Howie smartened up real quick and when he snuck into our room, would climb in on dad's side, dad would move over and howie would get to spend the night in our bed. Well, I have put my foot down and said enough is enough. Hopefully Tommy is on board with me now too. After much convincing and refusing to allow him to stay in our bed, Howie will sulkinly go to his room. His new phrase, however, is "I just want to come for a visit." so he gets to lay on our bed while we talk about the day, say prayers, and then send him to his room.

Last night he asked for a visit and I was too tired for the whole routine and said not tonight. He then said, "Please, just a little visit" and pinched his fingers together to show me what a little visit was. It was very funny and both Tommy and I started laughing.

Howie then said, "maybe I can for this much of a visit." I think he knows how to work his parents. What do you think?
