Rushton Grandparents

We had a nice visit from grandma and grandpa Rushton as they were passing through on their way to Utah and Nevada. It was fun to have them here for a little time. It is never long enough, but we will take what we can get.

 

 

We asked grandma Rushton to make her famous oatmeal chocolate chip cookies while they were here. Of course, we had her double the recipe!   I wrote it down as she said it so that we have it now.  Glad for that.

 

We enjoyed homemade blackberry ice cream one night.

See our little chicken coop with no nesting boxes? (We thought we were being very resourceful by recycling two boxes that pivot parts are shipping in and placed them together. We still have a ways to go,)

 

This could be a favorite pic from the visit.  Livy got different kinds of breathing treatment masks during her hospital stay in February.  She kept them and plays dress up with them all the time.  It was fun to play "who has the coolest breathing mask" game with grandpa.  We think he won.  Thanks for the visit.  You are welcome by anytime.
