We had a visit from Brandon and Ashely and the girls. It was a lot of fun. Then we headed over to grandma Joan's to pick some cherries and visit with her.
But before we went to Grandma Joan's, Howie had to show them the baby chickens living in our basement. Brooklyn was really cute with them.
We didn't have a ladder tall enough to reach the cherries, so Tommy and Brandon climbed in the tree to pick.
However, Brandon was able to reach some that I thought were out of reach. He climbed on Grandma's roof to do so. He had the best picking spot of us all and it was stable and didn't move. Takes me back to our childhood, Brandon has always been a dare devil.
The kids tried to help pick, but the cherries were up a lot of higher than they could reach. They were still pretty cute.
My kids absolutely love to draw when they visit grandma. Jim has a book that teaches you how to draw cartoon characters. They ask to do this each time we go to visit. No different this time around, except for the fact that two cousins joined them. I love how much they love to do this.
