I have never been through an open house and really wanted to experience it. I wanted Howie to see it too. So, I packed up the two kids and made a record fast trip up to SLC on Thursday night and back home on Friday evening. Record fast considering we were traveling with children. I did not make this journey alone. I took my good friend Martha, her daughter Kimi and her son Braxton. So, three women + three children (4, 10mo, 5 mo) = fun, crazy, tiring trip. But so worth it. It is beautiful, smaller than I thought it looked, but just beautiful.
After the temple, we met up with Jamie at Macaroni Grill (LOVE THAT PLACE!), enjoyed a little shopping, and met up with the Salt Lake Rushton clan so Howie could see his cousins. Then we came home. Whew! Whirlwind of a trip, but very memorable.

Howie was a big helper, holding both Olivia and Braxton's bottles. It only happened once when both needed to eat at the same time.
