10 months

Wow, this month got away from me fast. Hopefully I can post a catch-up log this week sometime. Olivia is 10 months today. She is in to making this funny face, wrinkling up her nose and face and then breathing through her nose like she is trying to smell something. It was fun to watch her learn how to do this, but anytime we say cheese for the camera, this is what we get.

9 month photos

9 months already! We love our little girl. She is just a delight and so good natured. She is easy going and happy. She can look at you, smile, and melt your heart. There are no words to express our happiness and gratitude to have you apart of our family. Love you Livie.

Father's Day

family photo
(check out Howie holding Livie's face so she would look at the camera! He did this in desperation after multiple attempts at taking the photo)

We enjoyed a nice, casual Sunday celebrating Father's Day. We made Tommy his favorite indian meal-Chicken Coconut Kurma. Tommy got three new polo shirts and his FAVORITE game, Settlers of Catan (with the expansion pack). He was in heaven. We love you Tommy, thanks for being a great father for us.
Howie really wanted a photo with his dad.

another fun weekend

We had a fun time fishing this last weekend. We met up with Jim and Cynthia and the kids at Yankee Meadow Lake for some fishing. I don't know what Tommy and I were thinking, okay, we just were not thinking at ALL! We forgot coats for the kids. Howie is wearning an oversized hoodie of Tommy's and I am snuggling with Olivia (thanks for the blanket Cynthia). We fished for a short time and then went back to Cedar and played at the park. Olivia LOVED the swings. We had fun playing in a narley tree.

these two photos make me smile, she has the funniest faces
swings are just a part of childhood

Bug Boy Howie

This is for you Grandma Schulthies. While in Oregon, grandma called Howie "Bug Boy Howie" as she had found her home had turned into a bug sanctuary. Howie is incredibly good at catching bugs, ladybugs, grasshoppers, anything that crawls including flies (watch out mr. miyagi). He seriously is talented. Howie insists to put them in a jar. All bugs are truly indebted to me, as they mysteriously are no longer in their jar in the morning (as I free them while howie is fast asleep). So, when we saw this shirt at the store that says 'bug hunter', we thought it would be most appropriate for "Bug Boy Howie." He does enjoy wearing it.

Check out the over cheesed grin. Can't get my little boy to give me a normal smile :)
