Toothless Howie

It happened once in December.  Then he did it again in January. It is something I wanted to record so that we don't forget. I have always heard the old adage that when you have a lose tooth, tie it to the doorknob and slam the door shut to get it out. We always joke about this to any kid we know who has a loose tooth. Howie wanted to try this out and see if it worked.

He used dental floss, tied it around his tooth and the door, but then the wait began. The first time he did this, we probably waited about 40 minutes for him to get enough courage to shut the door. He finally had dad shut it. It popped right out. After we got over the sound of the door closing, found out it was not in his mouth any longer, we then had to search for it on the floor.

I must say that Howie waits until the tooth is pretty much falling out of his mouth before we take to the door method. He has done the door method for the last two teeth. Aunt Sheree got to see it happen the second time. She was amazed too. Funny kid. Funny kid.
