Happy Valentine's Day! We made some classic sugar cookies for friends and family and had plenty for us to eat also! Note to self: Next year, don't double the recipe!!
I like to give a little treat to the kids on holidays. Chocolates, candy, valentine socks, a book for howie, and the family got Toy Story 3. That was a hit! (had been saving that one for a while, looking for the right time to unveil it)

And this lovely German Chocolate Drizzle Cake. Go here for the recipe and much much better photos and chocolate drizzling. My chocolate wasn't working well with me, but it still tasted amazing! Drove around this night and shared dessert with family.
And thank you to the hubby for the perfect gift! He pre-ordered me the Our Best Bites cookbook! I have been a huge fan of their blog and recipes. Smart man, my hubby, getting me a cookbook, so I cook for him. Yes, smart man.
