Sorry for the deley in posting, we have been without Internet for a few weeks. So, here is my attempt to catch you up.
Howie and I usually walk each night (when the sun is going down and it isn't so beastly hot) with my friend Martha. We went for a walk this night and got caught in an unexpected downpour. We were still a good ways away from home. It was coming down in sheets and even howie said the rain was hurting him as it came pelting down. We decided to stay on sidewalk next to the road and not take our usual path home so that the street lights could light our way. When we were almost home, two cars stopped and asked if we needed some help. It was nice of them, but we didn't know them and were a little weary of them, so we told them thanks, but we were almost home. I think they must have felt bad to see two women caught in the rainstorm, one pregnant and pushing a stroller. When we got home, Howie and I laughed at the situation (after howie had been close to tears and pain) and I grabbed the camera to take our photo. Later this night, our power went out. This is also the same night we got the phone call the my little brother Logan had been in a bad motorcycle accident, breaking his femur bone. After much complications and many surgies from infections, he is doing much better now.

After the rainstorm, Tommy and Howie thought our windows needed washing. So they were big helpers and tackled the hard water stains.

Then on Sunday, we had some pleseant company, The Robins came to visit. They only stayed for the day, but it was still nice to have them here. Pictured here is Reagan, Randy, Ray, Howie and Shayla. Riley was zonked out sleeping on the couch.

For the 24th of July, our ward had a celebration on the following Saturday. They had a bike parade for the kids and a breakfast along with a prepardness fair. Howie insisted on wearing his superman cape while he rode. Then later we did fireworks at home. It was a nice day.

Then on the 26th of July, Tommy was working and howie and I decided to go to the Movie in the Park. On Friday nights, the city plays a classic movie at the park. We went the night they were showing The Sandlot. Howie liked it a lot. He was afraid of the mean scary dog, and cheered when the dog became their friend. It was a fun night under the stars on our blanket at the park. It was still kind of hot, but we made it fun. We brought all of our favorite snacks, our own microwave popcorn, licorice, and all the water we could carry.

Next, we will post about Tommy and Howie's really cool hike. Hope this catches you up for the last month.

Tommy - Howie looks just like you - cute family!
You guys are so cute...Howie is adorable and we are so excited for your new baby GIRL! Hang in there over the last stretch (and props to you, Tara, for enduring the hot summer in your third tri-mester). Miss ya...
I am impressed that you walk every night. I am now trying to get back into my work out routine. It is hard and the heat doesn't help. Sammy wants to know when we will use our bike trailer agian and I tell her, "when it is not so hot out side!" You look great. Can wait for the new babes!
