Main street park (posted by Tommy)

Olivia standing with dad in the water at main street park in St. George. April is some of the best weather in St. George. This is the reason we live through the summers.

There is a little waterfall after Howie showed Livie how to play in it she had a blast.

I even got wet with the kids it was a real blast. I love the spring

This is a video of Livie playing in the waterfall. As you can see she had a blast. she didn't care how wet she got.

No more training wheels (posted by Tommy)

Howie has been trying to get me to take off his training wheels for a long time. I have been putting it off because I didn't want him to hurt himself and I just didn't think he was ready for them. finally on the 22nd I told him that I would however I had to go get some elbow and knee pads. The reason for this is because I knew he was going to wreck because I crashed so much trying to learn to ride a bike. Well he still has not crashed on his two wheel bike yet. I guess I should show more faith in my child.

Real Reason for Easter

this is as high tech-y as I have yet attempted. I don't know how to make it all fit in the screen, most of it does though. Enjoy. It is beautiful.

EASTER 2009

Easter is a great time of the year! We love it. This year was a little low key, which was nice. We went to Mesquite last weekend for an egg hunt with grandpa Rushton's work. We have been a few years now and it is nice. Howie cleaned up nicely. Howie got to hang out with Ryan and Keith, his cousins. Afterwards, we went to their house and watched the afternoon session of Conference.
We then recycled the plastic eggs and used them the next evening at our friends, the Boren's, for a BBQ get-to-gether. Howie, Taylor and Kaitlyn all had fun hunting the eggs.

Look at my domestication!

I finally had time to play in the kitchen this weekend. I attempted to make the cinnamon chip bread that I LOVE at Great Harvest. Howie was my little helper with this project. Mine isn't a perfect match, but it sure does taste amazing. Yummy toast and we can't wait to try making french toast with it. If you want to try the recipe, click here (of course this is the site of my favorite food storage guru ever).
