Happy Valentine's Day. Kudos to Tommy, he cooked me a nice dinner one night when I got home from work. I had vented and lashed out at him during my lunch break. I was just unloaded frustration and he got the brunt of it. I asked him to have dinner ready that night because I was totally stressed out. He asked me what to make. I told him to figure it out and left, nice right?! Sorry tommy that I took my horrible rotten day out on you. Work was stressing me out and....and there is no excuse for me to ever act like that towards you. Sorry. When I got home, Tommy had outdone himself. He had a full dinner with side dishes to boot! Okay, he made rolls, can you believe that?? That in its self is a daunting task. He made rolls! That touched me the most. Granted, they were Rhodes freezer rolls and the final shape of the roll was the same one inch ball as when they come out of the freezer (they did not raise at all for some reason), but Howie said, "Dad, those are the best rolls you have ever made!" Tommy even made a peach cobbler. You have to know Tommy to understand why this was so incredible. If I ask him to make dinner to help out, I usually set out a box dinner of some sort. Tommy will call me about 6-7 times to ask how to do dinner. This time I told him not to call me. Man, I was mean to him that day. He ended up calling his sister, his mother AND my mother asking how to make things (a few times). It was SOOOOOO good, probably because I didn't have to make it and it was hot and ready when I got home from work. That was the best Valentine's present ever. Thanks so much Tommy, love you lots, sorry for the way I acted. Love you. Tommy got the rest of his temple clothes so we don't have to rent his anymore. Yea! Olivia gave us a cool present and crawled for the first time. She has been itching to move about, but finally did the stinkbug crawl. We call it the stinkbug crawl, because her bum is up in the air. Too cute.

SCHOOL and GAMES
Tommy's nursing class took their class photo yesterday. Two more weeks and he is done with classes, just has a few clinicals/preceptorship requirements to do and then he will graduate in May with his RN! Yea!!! They took a photo with all of the babies born during the two year program. There were a lot, considering his class size was only 40 people.
Last night we had some friends over to play games. Mark and Kevin are brothers. Kevin is currently in the nursing program with tommy (look for the tallest one in the class photos) and Mark graduated the previous year. I have to tell you, this is quite a feat to get three men's nursing schedules to work for a night off to play games. The kids had fun playing and decorating cupcakes with valentine converstation hearts. Taylor was pretty cute, she would put a heart on the cupcake and then take it off and eat it, she did this over and over. If you hadn't been watching her, you would think she wasn't decorating the cupcake. Thanks for the fun night last night guys. We will have to do this as often as the nursing work schedules will premit.

Four Months Old
On Monday, Olivia had her four month check up. She weighs in at a heafty 15 lbs 4.5 oz and is 26 inches long! She did not like the shots that day, who does? Olivia is a really great natured child, very enjoyable to be around. Sometimes I forget she is only four months old because she seems so much older in the way she acts. She is rolling over lots, hates to be sitting down, tries to push herself out of the bouncer and can scoot all over the place. I will put her on a blanket and she will not be in the same place after a few minutes. She loves to chew and put anything in her mouth to sooth her gums. Generally her binki is her chew toy. She will place it in the corner of her mouth, bite down, and the pop it out. She likes the sound it makes. Love you cute girl, you are growing up too fast! Slow down.
Hiking with Dad
Wednesdays are Tommy's day home with the kids. They LOVE their Dad. probably because he is the coolest dad and loves to do things with them. Yesterday's activities consisted of hiking. You can tell from the photos that Olivia loved it too.
