Cousin Visit 4-12-08

Juliene and family were in town and we met up for a few hours of fun. We took Juliene through our almost finished house and then found a splah pad for the kids + Tommy to play in. It was a little windy, but mostly fun was had by all. We didn't plan on getting in the water, so I didn't have an extra outfit for Howie. We stipped him down to his whitie-tities and then put on his dry clothes later. Thanks for visiting Juliene. See you again in July!

Conference Weekend April 5 and 6

We drove to Becky and Mohammed's house to get away for the weekend. It was a lovely time. We listened to conference and played, just enjoyed each other's company. Tommy and Mohammed went to the Priesthood Session in the Marriott Center and the three of us went hiking in Rock Canyon. Then we went to Rock Canyon Park and had a blast teaching Howie how to roll down the grass covered hills. It was some good old fashioned fun, made my belly hurt because I was laughing so hard. I don't remember when the last time I rolled down grassy hills. There were some other people there ice blocking too. Then we went back and picked up the boys and found a little Gelato shop in downtown Provo. Gelato is to die for! (Italian Ice Cream) I am not kidding. It was my first experience, I think Tommy's too. Howie loved it so much he got seconds!!!! Tommy talked to the owners to see if they had thought about opening a shop in St. George, they said they were trying to sell that one and move to St. George because the wife wanted to live there. We hope they come soon, since it is our new found most wonderful treat.

Howie like Gelato so much, he has it all over his face!

On the way home Monday, we left in a snow storm. It was only that way for part of the trip. There are some good reasons why I love St. George!! This photo says one of them.

Hair Cut!!!

Okay, It was time for something drastic. A hair cut it was! On April 4, 2008, I cut off 14 inches (doesn't look as long braided) and sent it to Locks of Love. I like the new do and am ever finding new ways to wear it.

Howie's 3rd Birthday 12-24-07

Catch Up

Okay, So the Holidays consumed me. I haven’t been able to get back on top of my world since then. We had a lovely time in Oregon for Christmas (Sorry, no photos, they are on a CD somewhere in a box---will explain this in a minute.) Then we returned back to St. George to move. We had to be out by New Years. We moved in with a friend and put all of our stuff in a storage unit until our new house is finished being built. Well, things have taken quite a few turns for us. We had to move again on Martin Luther King weekend, so we moved to Mesquite with Tommy’s parents. Then again, two weeks ago, we moved again. His parents bought a house in Bunkerville, NV, about 3 miles from Mesquite. So, it has been out 4th move since Christmas. We are good at that, we guess. Hopefully our house is ready end of April (we are on schedule right now so all is looking good) and we can move in out our own place. It has been quite difficult on me personally, probably not for Tommy and Howie. Maybe this is why I can’t seem to get caught up on anything. Oh, and since our entire life is in the storage unit in boxes, I can’t find the photos from Christmas or Howie’s 3rd Birthday, except for one movie clip. The highlight of the last couple of months was when Weston, Lori, the girls and Becky and Mohammed came to visit us President’s weekend. It was lovely. Hopefully I can be better at blogging and keeping things up to date. Enjoy, love and miss you all. We will post some photos of the progress on the house soon.

Sisterly Love. This is my favorite photo of the whole weekend! Reminiscent of me and Sheree. So cute. Kailiani and Jaynee.
